200 million vehicles in India to be turned electric by 2026

The government of India is working on plans to require all two-wheelers to be electric by 2026. “We are working in partnership with the private sector to finalise a road map for electrification of 2 Wheelers by 2026,” wrote Amitabh Kant in a recent email.
