New outsourcing hotspots want collaboration, not competition, with India
Emerging outsourcing hotspots like Brazil, Poland and Egypt claim they want to position themselves â€˜complementary' to India in IT-BPO work, and not be tagged as rivals. These countries say their differentiated appeal based on multilingual capabilities and specific domain expertise fits the â€˜India plus one' strategy of most global clients.
â€œNo single location can compete with India given its scale of resource pool. We do not see India as a competitorâ€¦In fact, both global and Indian services companies are opening centres in Poland to leverage our language skills and the proximity to European markets,â€ says Mr Robert Seges, Advisor of the Board for Indian market, Polish Information and Foreign Investment Agency.
