Opening up a Bank Account in the US

 

For the Indian companies that have registered a firm in the US, the following are the items required to open up a business bank account there.

For LLC (Limited Liability Company) For C-Corp (Incorporation entity)
Federal EIN Registration - Form SS-4 Federal EIN Registration - Form SS-4
State Registration - Certificate of Formation State Registration - Certificate of Formation
Minutes of the Meeting Corporate Resolutions naming the current Officers, Directors
List of Members List of Officers 

 

Also, submit a copy of the following:

  1. Passport, Driver License
  2. Name of the Company and Corporate Identity Number
  3. Aadhar Card & Pan Card of the Directors and Company Pan Card
  4. GST Registration Certificate
  5. Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Policy
  6. Tax Returns: Income, GST, TDS, ESI (Employee State Insurance) and PF (Provident Fund)
  7. Memorandum and Articles of Association
  8. Licenses: Factory, Shop & Establishment, NOCs
  9. Importer Exporter Certificate
  10. Invoices raised, proof of shipping
  11. Membership at any chambers, export promotion organizations
