Friends of Madhya Pradesh Conclave

Government of Madhya Pradesh, India, in association with, the Consulate General of India, New York is organizing“Friends of Madhya Pradesh Conclave” on the 1st of February, 2015 in New York.
“Friends of MP” is a talent pool of individuals of Indian origin or otherwise, living outside MP who are passionate about becoming a part of the State’s success story. This initiative is aligned to the vision of the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India who suggested that each state should constitute its own global talent pool as a network of its friends wherever in the world they may be, and utilize their experience and talent for the country’s development.

Madhya Pradesh has taken a lead in creating such a talent pool with the involvement of the vast and widespread well-wishers of MP all over the world. Through a web-enabled platform, five sectors – education, health, skill development, rural development and tourism would initially be thrown open for engagement and would be further expanded in due course. The “Member Friends” can share an idea, sponsor a project or undertake volunteer work.

The first conference of “Member Friends” is being held in the United States of America. Hon Chief Minister of MP, Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan, will be visiting the US and will launch the “Friends of MP” initiative at the “Friends of Madhya Pradesh Conclave”.
