India-Maryland Business Roundtable

The sixth edition of the Confederation of Indian Industry’s Indian Roots, American Soil 2020 report highlights the economic contributions of Indian Industry in the U.S. via a survey of 150+ companies spread throughout the 50 U.S. states. In addition to showcasing the top states for Indian investments and job creation, the report highlights Indian Industry’s contributions to local communities through corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs and Research and Development (R&D) projects in the U.S.

This industry interaction will bring to light the Maryland - India connection, and the tremendous impact of Indian business in the state. Indian companies have invested nearly $512 million in Maryland, as the 11th largest recipient of Indian FDI in the U.S.
