India REIT: A Potential Investment Window

India has 650 million sq. ft. of Grade A Office Space and would touch 1 Billion sq. ft next 5-7 years. Office demand in India is linked to global consumption. Fortune 100’s have their offices in India. In the next 2 years, nearly 100 million square feet would be listed on India Stock Exchanges. Over 25 million is already listed and did well.

India consumed 47 million sq.ft. In 2019 in 8 cities. #WFH, #AI and C 19 is definitely going to short term impact office demand.

Investment in office #realestate gives you a higher rental yield with no or low risk. Grade A properties was beyond the reach of most investors but High Networth Individuals (HNI). Now #REIT listed on stock exchanges gives you the opportunity. Institutional Investors also like low risk steady returns.
