Bitcoin Hits Speed Bump at $18,000 as It Retraces Record Highs

Bitcoin is quickly approaching the record highs that spurred a mania among investors almost three years ago that ended in a violent crash.
In December 2017, Bitcoin nearly touched $20,000, marking an all-time high of $19,665, and fell as low as $3,136 within a year.
