The Indian Gov. has raised the limit for FDI under automatic route to 74%

• FM said, 'We will emphasize on the realistic sitting of qualitative requirements. FDI limit in defence manufacturing under automatic route is being raised from 49% to 74%.' 
• Finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman said that the government will enhance self-reliance in defence production.
