Indians ‘most interested’ in future travel

- American Express Global Travel Trends Report 2021 has found that India is ‘most interested’ in future travel. The report provides insight on consumer sentiments toward traveling, based on a survey conducted in seven different countries. These include United States, India, Japan, Australia, Canada, Mexico, and the United Kingdom.
- In India, 84% of the respondents are daydreaming about traveling at least once a week, the highest percentage among the seven countries. This percentage share is 74% for US, 67% for Canada, 45% for Australia, 79% for the UK, 70% for Mexico, and 45% for Japan, respectively. Furthermore, India also ranks highest in wishing to be digital nomads, with 87% of the respondents wanting to travel the globe while working and living. 69% of India’s respondents are planning a big international trip.
