PM Modi launches GatiShakti to boost India's infra development

Describing it as a historic event for the country's infrastructure landscape, the Prime Minister's Office said the GatiShakti project will break departmental silos and institutionalise holistic planning for the stakeholders across major infrastructure projects.
The plan looks to make a centralized portal comprising of all existing and planned infrastructure initiatives of as many as 16 central ministries and departments.GatiShakti is based on the six pillars of comprehensiveness, prioritisation, optimisation, synchronisation and being analytical and dynamic, the PMO added
